Scrapbooking
These are my first attempts at scrabooking. They're not great but I don't consider myself to be very creative so I'm pretty happy with them :) It's amazing how much time they take, though, and how hard it is to get much done with Steven around! He's worth it, though :)
This one is a little tribute to Steven's namesake: Josh's dad. I think Steven is already pretty close to being his favorite (if grandparents are allowed to have favorites)

It's ridiculous but I love these things...
7 things that attract me to my husband
.One of the first things that attracted me to Josh was on our first date. It was how he talked about his mission, going to the temple on his mission, & how he was looking forward to getting married in the temple :)

.He is soooooo patient!! (He's taught me a lot of patience, too)

.He is the one person I most want to spend my time with
.His spiritual side
.His smile & dimples
7 things I always say
.Ridiculous
.Josh!
.Your face
.Calm your face
.Crazy
."Okay let's get your weight...great now go ahead and leave me a sample & then I'll meet you in room 2" (I say that [or room 3 or room 4] pretty much about 75 times a day at work on Tuesdays)
.Baby talk to Steven. I catch myself doing it and wonder why, just because I am talking to a baby, that my voice automatically gets higher & my words get all kind of run together
7 things I Love to eat
.Hands down, the sirloin or filet Marsala from Carrabba's!!!!
.German Chocolate Crunch from the BYU creamery
.Dark peppermint ice cream from Cold Stone
.My mom's chicken noodle soup
.My mother-in-law's chocolate cake!!!! Mmmmmm (Only 3 weeks until I can eat some...)
.Sunkist orange soda with the GOOD ice from the hospital cafeteria
.Mango WATER ICE!!!
...I could continue to name many more things... :)
7 things I can do
.Cook/bake
.Take someone's blood pressure
.Raise one eyebrow (my right)
.Scuba dive
.Take pictures (and some of them turn out pretty good, too!)
.Plan things
.Sew
7 things I can't do
.Clean my kitchen (okay, I CAN, but I really don't like to)
.My visiting teaching (I'm so bad at that!)
.Keep my mouth shut when I get really irritated about something
.Speak any other languages
.Give up facebook or my blog (yes, Jess, I am addicted now!) ;)
.Fix my car on my own (I'd like to be able to do that, though)
.Eat sushi...ewww
By the way this is a taggy-thing again...now I tag Jessica, Arika, Rachel

Steven's Baby Blessing
I should've blogged this a while ago but better late than never! On Sunday, October 19th, Steven had his baby blessing at church. It was great :) My sister, two brothers, two of my great friends, plus a bunch of Josh's family and friends were there. After that, we went to Josh's parents' house for a lunch. I am so grateful to his parents for opening up their house to us and our family and friends!! Our tiny little apartment is WAAAYYY too small for people to come to. Rhonda (Josh's mom) got Steven a very nice blessing suit. My brother, Marc, was even able to be there! I had originally planned to do it on that date because he would be here for it. When the time got closer it looked like he might not have been able to be there but it all worked out in the end :) (I've been taking a ton of pictures lately but now I realize I should've taken more pictures of the other people there! Duh...)
His awesome blessing suit :)
Notice the little pacifier marks around his face...
I LOVE this picture of the three of us! Gorgeous background and all of us look great :)
Kiki was able to come! Yay!
Marc, myself, Arika...we've known eachother for so long!
This is how he really feels about being in a stuffy suit and getting his picture taken ;)
Better shot of the blessing suit
Isn't he beautiful? :D

Tag!
Jessica tagged me foreeevvverrr ago and I am just now getting to it. Sorry Jess!
The rules of this tag: list 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 surprising facts and then tag 5 people.
3 Joys: ~ My wonderful husband Josh (hehe Jess and I can say the exact same thing on that one!) ~ My baby boy! He is, by the way, the most beautiful boy I think I have ever seen. Would anyone like to add their daughter to his list of potential wives? ;) ~ My family
3 Fears: ~ Being killed in a fire ~ Steven (or any of my future kids) getting cancer as a child or dying young ~ Not living up to my potential
3 Current obsessions/collections: ~ Carrabba's...Okay, really mostly the sirlion Marsala from Carrabba's :D ~ Taking pictures ~ Dark Peppermint Chocolate ice cream from Coldstone! Only a week away...
3 Surprising Facts: ~ Until this month, I hadn't worked out in almost a year (I was pregnant, though...great excuse right?) ~ I secretly wouldn't be that upset if I accidently got pregnant before we plan it ~ I have a ginormous pumpkin pie in my fridge that I intend on eating most of
Now I tag...Rachel, Arika, Jenzi, Mariel & Sarah

Coldstone

Okay, so this is pretty ridiculous for me to post this. I went to Cold Stone Creamery on Saturday & found out that the best flavor EVER is coming back on November 5th. It is called Dark Peppermint Chocolate and it is awwweeesssoommmeeee! It doesn't look too pretty because it's like a blackish-grey color but it's yummy! Aside from German Chocolate Crunch from the BYU creamery, it's my favorite ice cream flavor. They only have it during Christmastime for some reason which is a bummer. Earlier this year, however, I was with my friend, Arika, and they had it at the one in Orem. It was in like April or something. So weird but it made my day :) Anyway, I'm going to need to be careful not to get fat from eating all that ice cream...there's a Cold Stone right by my house... :/
That's right, I TOOK THIS! ;)

I just had to post this picture because I LOVE it sooooo much! I took this picture on October 19 at my in-laws'. My niece, Mandy, was just crawling around on the deck and so I took a few random pictures of her. When i uploaded them onto my computer I saw this one and edited and played with the lighting a bit. To me it looks like one of those professional pictures. I just had to brag :D
