Here We Go Again!

As most of you have probably heard, I am PREGNANT again!  Yep, Baby #2 is due to arrive on or around April 26, 2010.  I'm pretty stoked about it!  Call me crazy, but for quite a while I've wanted (at least) my first two kids to be 18 - 24 months apart.  My brother & I are 13 1/2 months apart & in Josh's family the first 3 boys were born in 4 years.  I wanted my kids to be close (in age & wells as otherwise) so we'll see how it works out.  Steven & #2 will be about 19 months apart.  Who knows if I will want to have #2 & #3 that close together but I'm just playing it by ear.  I would also like to be done having kids by the time I'm 35 so I have to stay on track ;)
Right now I'm 19 weeks.  On Thursday (the 3rd) I have an ultrasound scheduled & we'll be able to find out what we're having (if he/she cooperates, of course).  I'm pretty excited to see what we're having.  I don't really care too much but it'd be nice to have a boy & a girl as the first two.
(So far) I feel great...even better than I did with Steven.  Now that is a real feat because I felt pretty dang good with Steven.  I am really very grateful that my pregnancies (so far) have been pretty easy.  I really do not envy all those who have a harder time but I do sympathize!  (Please don't hate me because I have an easy time; it's not my fault, I swear!)  Anyway, life is pretty good & I'm excited for this new adventure.  I know it will be super crazy when the baby comes but that too shall pass.  :)
I've decided to take pictures of my progression this time since I didn't really do that with Steven.  Most people are surprised that I am almost 5 months along...I guess I don't stick out much.  I don't get the "beach ball" belly...too bad because I think that's cute!
Me at 12 weeks

Baby #2 at about 14 weeks

Me at 16 weeks.  No, I'm not that big!  I was sticking my stomach out hehehe

Sucking it in. What baby?!?! ;) I can't do that so much anymore...

I think this was supposed to be the "normal/relaxed/not sticking out/not sucking in" pose but I can't really remember... :/

Baby #2 at 16 weeks.  I like the profile :)

Catch Up

Since I really haven't blogged in about a month, I thought would catch up a little with some pictures. Not a ton of exciting stuff is going on (except for my next post)...I started working again while Josh is not working much during the winter. It's nice to have a chance & bring in a little extra cash. Steven is growing like crazy & is so much fun to be with. He has such a funny little personality! My in-laws say that Steven does a lot of the same things that Josh did when he was a kid. It's weird that those things are carried on like that...Anyway, here are some pictures :)
Steven loves to get my phone & "talk" on it...

I just love this picture...Steven's folded up but still has a great smile! :)

For some reason he loves making this face...He'll even squint up his eyes like this and try to walk around...

I left Steven in his room on the couch with a book for a minute & came back to find him asleep :)

Bath time!

Steven's first experience with a clementine/mandarin orange (Sour!)

He loves those things, though :)

Oh, Steven... ;)

I know I haven't blogged in FOREVER & I really will get around to updating (really!)...hopefully this weekend. I just wanted to post this video, though, because I think it's pretty hilarious. Steven loves yelling & walking/running...so why not combine the two? ;)

Halloween & All It's Glory

I love fall & Halloween is a very fun part of it. I LOVE carving pumpkins so this year I had my family over the Monday before Halloween to make ours. That night Josh showed up 3 days early from Missouri & surprised me. It was a very good night! :) This year I took Steven trick-or-treating with my sister & her family. He was a little cow & we both had fun. He can walk pretty well now but I took him in a stroller any way. At first he didn't really get what was going on but by the end of it he was realizing that the kids were getting candy & getting very excited. I can't wait for next year! Here are pictures. :)
Steven was pretty excited about the whole thing but he went to bed before we were done (we didn't start until after 7)

We are very safety conscious in our house...

My brother, David. He always has to do the really difficult patterns... :)
Me with the pumpkin I made for myself. It's a bat if you can't tell :)
My nephew, Ethan, & niece, Mandy, enjoying the cookies my sister brought. I love Ethan's face in this picture!

Steven in his costume. Isn't it weird that the arms are really long but the legs are too short?

Waiting at one of the first doors. Steven was really chill...He didn't really understand what was going on...until he realised there was stuff in his bucket...
Steven started getting way more excited...sticking his tongue out and everything! ;)
Steven thought HE was going to get to eat all of the candy he was getting...silly boy ;)
Steven & I outside. I didn't have time to change into my REAL costume so I went with Minnie Mouse Ears.

Me, Crafty? What?!?

I've never really thought of myself as a crafty person but I wanted to start decorating my house. I love fall & you can leave the same decorations up for a while so I decided to start on that. The biggest problem that I see with decorating is that it can be expensive. I tried to go the fairly inexpensive route & I think it worked out fairly well!
This pumpkin I made at a church activity. It was a lot of fun :)

The supplies I got to make my vases. The vases were from D.I. ($1 each! Score!) & the rest was from Tai Pan. I really wanted a chain of fall leaves but the only ones I could find were ugly so I had to improvise.

The vases after they were completed.

Everything on my mantle.

Side view of the vases so you could see them a little better.

Not too shabby for not being a crafty person, I think ;)

13 1/2 months

Here are more recent pictures of Steven. Hope you like!
Steven with his cousin Mandy up American Fork Canyon earlier this month. You can't really tell in this picture but earlier I had put Steven in Mandy's stroller. I looked away for a second and during that second he decided to do a face plant on the ground. He has a little scrape on the right side of his forehead but he didn't get a goose egg later! I was happy about that :)
Steven has decided that he likes putting my sunglasses on his face now. Before he would put them around his neck backwards...
Chillin' in his stroller.
Steven trying to use the swiffer
Laundry basket o' fun
Apparently Josh did this same type of thing as a kid. Can this stuff be genetic??
Steven & I on his birthday.
One of his many funny faces. Steven was very interested in what Josh was doing.
